“SHE-GE” project participates in a workshop for bilateral partnership projects at IUG.
SHE-GE project Gaza team participated in the workshop held by the international relations at IUG. The workshop aimed at knowledge and experiences sharing between the international bilateral partnership projects currently under implementation at the Islamic University of Gaza University.
Dr Sanaa Abu Daqqa, Project manager, presented the objectives, activities, the outputs achieved by the project during the 1st six months of its implementation. More specifically, Prof. Aboudaggaa highlighted the importance of partnership cohesion and the regular meetings between the consortium members to ensure the project implemnmetation according the plan. In addition, she has indicated the importance of the rich knowledge incurred as a result of the participation in the international visits to Austria. Moreover, Prof. Aboudagga recommended short term and long-term actions to be taken by the project in the light of her visit to Austria to promote the concept of Gender equalities at Higher Education Institutions in Palestine.
On the other hand, Prof. Aboudagga discussed the main challenges that faced the project team during the implementation. More specifically she indicated the difficulties of the international mobility outside Palestine and how this difficulty prevent Gaza strip participants from benefiting to the maximum from the international capacity building.
