IUG staff participates in an academic program on Interdisciplinary Gender Studies

An academic team from the Islamic University of Gaza has started a post-graduate modules program on Interdisciplinary Gender Studies (16 ECTS) composed of (3) courses and ended with research seminar. The modules will be carried out during one year via Moodle.
A group of specialists from Graz university, including Prof. Dr. Libora "SHE-GE" project coordinator at Graz University will be teaching in this program. During their participation in the courses, participants are expected to reflect, from an Islamic and cultural perspective, on different Women and Gender Equality related studies, researches, theories and papers. Participants from around the world, via Moodle, will work in groups to discuss and write researches and articles about this subject.
At the end of the program, participants will get a certificate from the International relations from Graz University. This program is part of the activities of the project ‘Strengthening Higher Education Capacities in Palestine for Gender Equality (SHE-GE)’ which is implemented by the Faculty of Education at IUG in cooperation with Graz University, and funded by Appear program for the period 2017-2020.
