On Friday and Saturday, the 9th and 10th of October 2009, the Faculty of Medicine held its first medical conference on cardiovascular disease, and its second conference the faculty was born in 2006.
The conference was held in cooperation with the European Gaza Hospital, the Ministry of Health, and the Arab Doctors Union, where it discussed updates in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary and peripheral artery diseases; prevalence of coronary and peripheral artery diseases in Palestine; and modern technologies in the prevention of heart disease.
The conference featured 20 scientific papers, prepared by specialists in cardiovascular disease and heart surgery from Britain, Germany, Turkey, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine.
